Day 1 | Hometown - Beijing   Top

The journey begins with your transpacific flight departing from a city of your choice. You'll lose a day upon crossing the International Date Line.

Day 2 | Beijing   Top

Arrive Beijing

Meet your guide on arrival in late afternoon and transfer to the hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure. If you feel hungry before going to bed, you may order room service at your own expense or patronize one of the nice restaurants around the hotel. 

Day 3 | Beijing  (B,L,D) Top

Following breakfast, you will start your tour from the largest public square in the world - the Tiananmen Square, and then enter the Forbidden City, home of Chinese emperors for more than 500 years. In the afternoon, you will visit the harmonious Temple of Heaven, one of the best examples of Ming Dynasty architecture in China, also an ornate sanctuary where Chinese Emperors worshiped the Gods. Then visit Chinese herb store. Welcome dinner, feast on the emperor’s cuisine - The Beijing Roast Duck Banquet will be arranged at a leading city restaurant.

Day 4 | Beijing  (B,L,D) Top

An unforgettable outing includes a walking to the wondrous Great Wall, at Juyong guan, where you will have the chance to climb a portion of this 3,700-mile vista and marvel. Zigzagging from east to west along the undulating mountains, the Great Wall, said to be visible from the moon, was built to hold off tribal invaders from the north. Its dramatic descends steep ridges and narrow valleys will scatter a good landscape for your camera. Then you’ll have an opportunity to shop at the largest Jade Center of Asia and Cloisonné Factory. Back to city, enjoy outside view of the Bird’s Nests and Water Cube. After dinner, cap off the day by attending an energetic performance of  Acrobatic Show.

Day 5 | Beijing - Hangzhou  (B,L,D) Top

After breakfast, fly to shanghai and transfer to Hangzhou by deluxe motor coach, With a history of 2200 years, scenic Hangzhou has often been referred to as "Paradise on Earth" by Chinese poets and writers. A refreshing cruise on serene West Lake is followed by Dragon Well Tea Plantation where the much treasured Chinese green tea is made.  

Day 6 | Hangzhou - Wuxi  (B,L,D) Top

After breakfast, travel to Wuxi, one of the oldest cities in China with more than 3,000 years history. Upon arrival, visit Lake Tai, where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Wuxi. Then visit the Lingshan Grand Buddha. Later visit one of the largest fresh water pearl farms in the country. Enjoy the famous local dish “Sweet & Sour Ribs”for dinner.

Day 7 | Wuxi - Suzhou  (B,L,D) Top

Travel by coach to Suzhou, a city which has been praised as “Venice of the East”. Take a relaxing stroll through one of Suzhou beautiful gardens, like the Garden of Master of Nets, one of the largest classical gardens in Suzhou as well as one of the most famous gardens in China. Enjoy a boat cruise along the Grand Canal, which is over 1,500 years old and connects Beijing to the rich coastal areas around Shanghai. Later visit a silk factory and enjoy a silk fashion show.

Day 8 | Suzhou - Shanghai  (B,L,D) Top

Before 1949, Shanghai was widely known in the West as a city of quick riches and paradise of the adventurers. After four decades of anemic growth in a state planned economy, Shanghai is roaring back to recapture its position on the world stage. With a population of 23 million and rapid economic expansion in the last 20 years, Shanghai has again become a leading global city with significant influence in commerce, culture, finance, media, fashion, technology and transport.

Our sightseeing today begins with a walk on the Bund, a waterfront promenade famous for its landmark neoclassical buildings of European style. Followed program will be a visit to the Old Town and walk down its narrow lanes past traditional buildings to the once private Yu Yuan Garden. After dinner you may join an optional tour for a night cruise on the  Huangpu River to enjoy the city's spectacular neon-lit skyline($30/passenger) .

Day 9 | Shanghai - Shanghai  (B) Top

In the morning, you will make a visit the Shanghai Museum. There you will find artefacts that span the length of China’s history, and enliven its cultural traditions. The rest of the day is at leisure. Exploring China's most dynamic city on your own has never been easier. Our recommended list includes Jinmao Tower and a ride aboard the world's only commercially run Maglev train. 

Day 10 | Shanghai - Hometown  (B) Top

After breakfast we transfer to the airport to board return flight. Cross the International Date Line and arrive home the same day.
