HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Nexus Holidays committed to do our best to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our guests and our team.
Every trip has been thoroughly audited to ensure health and safety standards are met. In many cases, itineraries have been adjusted to avoid crowded locations or peak times, and enhanced ventilation standards have been introduced for venues and transportation, where possible.
We are in ever-evolving times, so options remain open for consideration based upon the best available health information and government guidance. We will continue to build upon these measures including adhering to standards set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO).
We carefully select our partners and end suppliers such as hotels, transportation and restaurants to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, quality and safety. We are actively working with all of our partners to confirm they are meeting or exceeding government-mandated standards and have enhanced hygiene measures.
TOUR GUIDES & TOUR LEADERS
Tour guides and tour leaders must either have been vaccinated, or have tested negative to COVID-19 no more than 72 hours before they start a trip. They will wear face masks, when necessary, based on local guidelines and recommendations.
Tour guides and tour leaders will pay more attention to the health of group members. They have been thoroughly trained in COVID-19 safe protocols, including hygiene, sanitation, health screening and crisis management. Their local knowledge will help you exploring the destination safety.
On all trips we will follow local government guidance on permitted group sizes. This may mean reduced group sizes for the entire trip, for certain activities, or in certain environments such as restaurants or transport.
Enhanced cleaning measures such as sanitization of high-touch area will be taken each day on tour coach, in addition to the regular strict cleaning procedures.
Hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes will be available on the coach for use throughout the tour.
Masks are mandatory for travellers, leaders, crew and suppliers in any situation or destination when it is required by local government advice. In many countries, this includes (but is not limited to):
· Public and private transport
· Crowds or places where physical distancing is difficult
· Indoors (particularly in places with poor ventilation)
Local laws and regulations regarding masks apply to all travelers, leaders crew and suppliers in the destination, regardless of their vaccination status. Vaccinated travelers are not exempt from wearing masks unless this is specified in local regulations.
Bringing a reusable face mask or a few disposable face masks with you is highly recommended. We also suggest bringing hand sanitizer so you can use freely throughout your journey.
Nexus Holidays look forward to welcome you onboard!
