Package Tour Fare Includes
-
International air
transportation:
Round trip transpacific air from designated
gateway to destination per tour itinerary. "Land Only" Package
does not include the international flight.

Internal
transportation:
All internal flights in the package are included per
itinerary (unless specified). Private motor
coach land travel, private transfers between airport and hotel, and all
domestic transportation within tour are included.

Accommodations:
Hotel and cruise accommodations are included in the tour cost, based on
standard twin-sharing rooms with private facilities. Tour fares shown are
quoted on a per person (pp) double occupancy (do) rate (two people sharing
one room). Rate for triple occupancy is as same as that for double
occupancy. Some hotels don’t
provide triple rooms, please contact us for details. Single occupancy
is subject to Single Supplement charge. Triple room is a standard
twin-sharing room adding a rollaway bed (cot). The standard room at some
hotels may be smaller than that in North America so it is tight to have
three beds in one room.

Sightseeing &
Admissions fees:
Comprehensive sightseeing, cruise and shore excursions (where
applicable),and evening shows including admission/entrance fees are
included per itinerary (unless specified). The arrangements of these
programs are determined by local tour operator and are based on local
circumstances such as weather, traffic, holidays, etc.

Meals:
Daily meals and local flavors are included as specified in the itinerary.
Meal codes are: B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Diner, IM=In-Flight Meals.
Breakfast is usually buffet style served inside your hotel. Lunch and
dinner are usually served at local restaurants with Chinese "family
style" set menu meals including one glass of selected beverages per
person.

Escorting/Guiding
Services:
Local guides are English speaking (unless specified) assigned along the trip to offer local guiding
services.
Tour fare does not include
Visa processing fee; Airfare between your home city and the designated Canadian
gateways; optional travel insurance; gratuities to your tour guides, drivers
and porters; items of personal nature such as laundry, room service, phone
bills, excess baggage charges, optional tours, and all other items and/or
services not specifically listed in the itinerary.
Charge for Children
For Children 11 years and under(no extra bed) the cost is 85%
of a regular adult price(applicable for regular tour packages). For promotion
tour package, child fare will be the same as adult. Lap child under 2 years of age will have no seat and
bed on airplane and at hotels. Child 12 years and older is considered adult;
adult rate applies.
Passenger Information
Please note Nexus
Holidays requires you to provide your FULL passport names as
appearing exactly on your passport. We require and ONLY need your passport
name. Failure to do so will result in denial of boarding and the passenger
takes full responsibility.
It is passengers' responsibility to double check with Nexus Holidays to make sure you provide the exact names as appearing
on your passport when you make an online booking or reserve the tour over the
phone. Please note your passport names must be provided correctly in the first
place and the names you provided will be used to book your air portion of your
trip after we receive your tour deposit. Nexus Holidays will
not verify your name spelling when receive your passport later.
When you receive the tour invoice, you must check again and make sure the names
appearing on the invoice match exactly your passport names.
Upon receipt of the airline ticket before departure, you should perform the
check of name spellings, flight segments, travel dates, etc. and contact us
immediately if there is any discrepancy. Please note it is your sole
responsibility to make sure all travel information is correct on your travel
documents.
Special Request:
If there are any special requests regarding food, hotel
rooms, etc. Please let us know at the time of your booking, while we'll do our
best to accommodate your need and please note that such requests can't be
guaranteed.
Methods of Payment
Tour prices listed are in Canadian dollars. Master Card, Visa, personal/company
check, bank draft and electronic bank wire are all acceptable forms of payment.
To take advantage of the "Cash Discount" rate you should pay the
balance payment by checks or bank draft, payable to "Nexus Holidays
Toronto Inc".
Reservation
A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person is required to secure your
reservation. Reservation will not be confirmed until your deposit is cleared
with our company. To secure a reservation on a trip departing within 60 days, full payment is required at the time of
booking.
Nexus Holidays reserves the right to correct any
errors in rates quoted or calculated, or any omissions made at any time during
your booking. Any verbal quote given is an indication only of the final price
and is subject to confirmation in writing.
Air-inclusive
Package Payment
In addition to paying the deposit amount, for
air-inclusive packages, additional payment may be required for international
flights before the final balance due date. Full air payment is required at the
time of issuing the flight tickets. Any cancellation or changes to the flight
schedule will result in airline penalties at your own expense.
Please note: For certain special promotion deals, all
sales are final and the full payment are required at the time of booking made
and the tour package is totally non-refundable and non-transferable.
Final Payment
Final payment is due 60 days prior to departure. To take advantage of our
cash discount rate simply make the balance payment by checks and bank draft in
the cash discount amount as indicated on your invoice to arrive in our company
by payment due date. If you wish to pay your balance by a credit card, please
contact Nexus Holidays one week prior to the balance payment due date so we can
send the credit card form or link to you.
By paying the balance with a credit card you are not eligible for the cash
discount rate. Reservation is subject to cancellation if final payment is not
received by due date; the deposit will be forfeited. Government taxes and fees
are not part of the tour price and will be billed as a separate item on your
invoice.
Airline Fuel Levy Surcharge
Since 2004 all airlines have been charging a fuel levy
surcharge, on top of the normal airline ticket price, in order to cover the
increased cost of aviation fuel. As fuel prices may fluctuate, so too will the
amount the airlines charge for this levy. This amount will be advised to you at
the time of your booking and is subject to change until your flight ticket is
issued.
Modification:
Certain options can be modified after the reservation is
made:
1. Optional Tours/Excursions and Airport
Transfer Services may be added up/may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the departure date. After the full payment
has been made it will result in a 15% fee.
2. Hotel/Room Upgrades may be added up to 45
days prior to the departure date and base on hotels availabilities. After the reservation has been paid in full,
Hotel/Room Upgrades cannot be cancelled and it's a non-refundable.
3. All entry visa processing service can be
added 60 days prior to the departure date.
4. Travel insurance can be added or deleted
before the final full payment is made.
Amendment & Booking Fees
If you vary your booking, other than by transferring
your tour package, tour departure date or name transfers, an amendment fee of
$50.00 applies.
Amendments
made within 60 days or less before the tour date of departure will incur heavy
penalties.
Transferring between tours (61 days or more) incurs a
$100 per person administration fee plus any air/hotel/cruise/train ticket cost. Transfer fees must be paid at the time of change.
Transferring between tours within 60 days or
less of the tour departure date will be regarded as a cancellation.
Reissue of airline tickets - from $300 per
person (other fees may apply).
Once a booking is confirmed, name transfers are
not permitted as this will be regarded as a cancellation.
Cancellation by Customer
Notification of tour cancellation for any reason must
be in writing. Verbal cancellation by phone is not acceptable. Any cancellation
refunds will be calculated from the date the written cancellation is received
in our offices.
Traveler(s) unable to complete the vacation for any reason acknowledge that any
and all unused portion(s) of the vacation package is neither refundable nor
exchangeable.
More than 60 days prior to departure; loss of deposit
plus any administration fees
Between 59-40 days prior to departure; loss of deposit
and 50% of total tour fare plus the cost of the air/hotel/train/cruise
tickets.
Between 39-20 days prior to departure; loss of deposit
and 75% of total tour fare plus the cost of the air/hotel/train/cruise
tickets.
19 days or less prior to departure; 100% of total tour
cost.
In addition to the above tour
cancellation and change charges, the travelers will be wholly liable for any
additional cancellation penalty fee or service charges such as airlines,
hotels, cruises, trains and/or ground operators that have already been issued
or service has been confirmed at the time of cancellation (regardless of number
of days prior to departure). Nexus Holidays reserves the right to have the
airline tickets issued by us or its authorized agent issue airline tickets
immediately upon receipt of your tour payment.
In the event of your travel companion or
roommate cancelling the trip, you will be responsible for the additional
resultant single supplement charge.
Please note: For certain special promotion
deals, all sales are final and the full payment are required at the time of
booking made and the tour package is totally non-refundable and
non-transferable.
Cancellation by Nexus Holidays
Nexus Holidays reserves the right to cancel or vary a
tour prior to departure due to insufficient numbers. In such an event
alternative guaranteed travel dates will be offered. Should these options not
be acceptable Nexus Holidays will refund the full price paid, less visa cost.
If a tour is cancelled due to unforeseeable circumstances such as, but not
restricted to, severe weather conditions or force majeure, Nexus Holidays will
refund all monies except visa cost and any cancellation fees levied by airlines
and other third parties. Unforeseeable circumstances such as force majeure,
adverse weather, flight rescheduling, hotel overbooking and faults with
transportation or road conditions may also have an effect on the tour itinerary
after the commencement date. Any decision made in respect of tour services by
independent operators to re-route or amend the itinerary due to any of the
above or similar circumstances is at the discretion of the tour service
provider and Nexus Holidays shall not be liable for any claim arising from such
events.
Refusal of Carriage
Nexus Holidays retains the right to remove customers
from our group for reasons that impact on the enjoyment or safety of other tour
members, such as, but not limited to, the physical, medical or mental inability
of customers to undertake the arrangements of the tour, unsocial or unruly
behavior, or the carriage of prohibited substances and materials.
Hotel Descriptions, Maps & Pictures
Any hotel descriptions are based on current hotel
guides provided by suppliers and contractual agreements. Any facilities
described are subject to change at any time. Maps and photographs are included
for general information only and may not necessarily reflect actual routings,
location or services. Nexus Holidays has made reasonable enquiries to verify
that the descriptions and details are accurate but does not warrant that they
are.
Travel Insurance
Nexus Holidays strongly recommends that all customers
be adequately covered by insurance for the duration of the their travel
arrangements. Nexus Holidays cannot be made liable for any cost incurred by the
customer on any tour if not adequately insured.
Health Requirements
All customers must possess physical and mental fitness
well enough to travel and are required to familiarize themselves with any
health requirements specific to the countries being visited. Customers with a
pre-existing medical condition that affects their fitness to travel, or any
medical/dietary requirements must advise Nexus Holidays when booking their tour
and may be required to provide written confirmation from their doctor that they
are fit to travel. All customers should visit their doctor to confirm that they
are physically able to undertake the day-to-day requirements of the tour.
Should any ailments either exist at the time of booking, or arise before their
departure from Canada, the customer must inform Nexus Holidays of these in
writing.
Travelers Needing Special Assistance
Nexus Holidays regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a guest
for walking, wheelchairs, motorized scooters, dining and other personal needs.
Guest needing such assistance must report to Nexus Holidays when booking the
tour and must be accompanied by an able companion who will assist them. We
regret that some itineraries cannot accommodate wheelchairs or motorized
scooters.
Baggage
Baggage is at the owner’s responsibility throughout the
tour, we assume no liability for loss or damage to baggage or delay of baggage
in transit to and from or while on a tour. Generally, baggage allowance varies
from airlines to airlines. For up-to-date baggage allowance restrictions,
always check with the appropriate airline for the latest regulations.
Baggage allowance varies by airline and is subject to change at any time. Some
airlines may impose additional charges if you choose to check in any baggage.
Please contact your airline or refer to its website for detailed information
regarding your airline's checked baggage policies prior to departure. Excess
baggage charge and insurance is the traveler's responsibility.
Due to the bus space limitations and for your
travel convenience, we strongly recommend one check-in luggage and one small
hand-carry item per person.
Travel Documents
A passport with a minimum of six months validity is
required for customers travelling to all countries in our programme.
Non-Canadian passport holders will incur additional fees. Visa costs are not
included in tour packages unless otherwise explicitly stated. If passports are
not received by Nexus Holidays 60 days prior to departure, at the specified
time the customer may be required to pay an urgent visa processing fee.
Responsibility for documentation accuracy, passport validity and dispatch of
documents rests with the customer. Nexus Holidays accepts no responsibility for
any failure in this respect. Nexus Holidays does not issue foreign visas. We
only submit passports and application forms for visas to be issued by the
relevant authorities. Nexus Holidays cannot guarantee that any visa will be
issued by the relevant authority and accepts no responsibility if a visa
application is refused. Any cancellation fees or other expenses incurred by the
customer due to the refusal of a visa will be entirely the customer’s
liability.
Itinerary Changes
the day-by-day itinerary provided on our website is
preliminary and subject to adjustment and change. Nexus Holidays reserves the
right to make substitution with hotel/cruise ship of equal standard and
quality. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those
accommodations. Local tour arrangements are determined by local tour operators
and are based on local circumstances such as weather, traffic, holidays, etc.
Single Travelers
If travelling alone a single supplement surcharge will
apply. Single supplement fees are also applicable for any rail or cruise
components and cannot be waived.
Tipping
Tipping is a firm and expected element in the tourism
industry today. Tipping can be pre-paid in Canadian dollars prior to your
departure date. The amount payable for each tour is shown in the tour
descriptions and Nexus Holidays will advise the exact amount required per
person at the time of booking. Tipping amounts are based on the tour itinerary
and length and are subject to change.
Shopping
Nexus Holidays and its employees are not qualified nor
permitted to ensure or guarantee the quality or value of any goods purchased or
the suitability of any retail outlets visited. In all cases the purchasing of
goods and the use of a credit card for those transactions is entirely at the
customer’s own risk and at all times the customer must use their own
discretion.
Airlines
Airlines do not by virtue of their endorsement
represent themselves either as contracting with any purchaser of a holiday from
Nexus Holidays or as having any legal relationship with such a purchaser.
Frequent flyer miles may not be accrued on packaged fares.
Addresses
By providing email and postal addresses on the
Reservation Form, you have agreed to receive correspondence from Nexus Holidays
which may contain marketing, specials and promotional material.
Brochure Validity
Tour itineraries and prices in the brochure/on the
website are accurate at the time of publishing and prices are based on exchange
rates as of December of the previous year. Once a customer has paid in full,
the price of the tour is guaranteed, subject to any tax changes or levies
imposed by any government or their agencies or any airline. The prices for
tours in the following year are subject to change without notice. Nexus Holidays
reserves the right to make alterations to itineraries, departure dates and
prices due to circumstances beyond their control.
Documents
Final documents including air tickets, hotel lists, final tour itinerary,
clothing suggestions, reading list and other pertinent information will be
mailed or
emailed to you approximately two weeks prior to departure.
Photography on the tour
From time to time, Nexus Holidays will photograph the tour and tour related
activities. All travelers consent to the use of their likeness on Nexus
Holidays website and in our publications unless they specifically indicate
their preference in writing prior to departure.
Legal
Nexus Holidays shall not be in any way liable for any inconvenience, accidents,
loss, personal injury or property damage to you or to those traveling with you
in course of the trip resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrences or
conditions including but not limited to delays, cancellations, change of
schedule, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or
construction breakdown, default of any third parties, criminal or terrorist
activities, acts of governmental authority, social or labor unrest, hygiene,
disease, customs regulations, weather conditions, Acts of God, or any other
actions, omissions or conditions beyond the control of Nexus Holidays.
Nexus Holidays shall not be held responsible for any
potential risks and/or hazards associated with travel to destinations covered
in our tour programs where unanticipated events may occur. Clients must be
aware that there may be different living standards and practices outside of
their home country including but not limited to standards of quality, hygiene,
safety, medical treatment, provision of utilities such as water, electricity,
accommodation, food preparations and services of all kinds. In consideration
for embarking upon travel for which you have sought the assistance of Nexus
Holidays you hereby agrees to voluntarily assume all risks involved in such
travel, whether expected or unexpected, or whether directly or indirectly the
result of such travel.
Nexus Holidays reserves the right to change the
departure date of any trip, withdraw any tours, alter tour itinerary, and
substitute hotels, airlines, cruise ship, land travel operators, and any aspect
of your tour package for the convenience of the operation of tours. In the
event of cancellation, alteration or substitution of such services due to the
operation of the Suppliers, delays, weather, act of government authority or
other causes of whatever nature beyond the control of Nexus Holidays.
Comparable services would be offered; and, there shall be no refund or penalties
in this connection. Nexus Holidays reserves the right to decline to accept, or
retain any person as tour member if such person's physical or mental
conditions, in our opinion, impede the operation of the tour. Nexus Holidays
reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason.
Liability for such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by Nexus
Holidays. Doing so will constitute full settlement with the tour member.
Airlines, cruise lines, rail, motor coach and other
transportation carriers concerned shall not be liable for any act, omission or
event during the time the passengers are not on board their planes, cruise ship
or conveyances. All transportation carriers herein mentioned shall have or
incur no responsibility for liability to any traveler aside from their
liability as common carriers.
Hotel and cruise ship profiles are based upon
information provided to Nexus Holidays. by hotels and cruise ships, or their
representatives, including images and descriptions of individual properties.
Star-ratings may differ from country to country. Nexus Holidays does its best
to maintain current information, however, is not responsible for any
inaccuracies, changes in features or amenities, or images provided by third
parties.
Payment of the required deposit constitutes consent to all provisions of the
conditions and general information contained herein for all travelers covered
by the payment. The General Conditions under which you agree to utilize the
services of Nexus Holidays in arranging the tours may not be amended in any way
except in writing signed by an authorized officer of Tour Beyond, Inc.
The Agency reserves the right to modify this Terms
& Conditions at any time and Customer's continued use of this service will
be conditioned upon the Terms & Conditions in force at the time of use.
Nexus Holidays makes every effort to ensure accuracy
on the website and brochure; however, Nexus Holidays cannot be held responsible
for any errors or omissions in the publications.
Claims & Jurisdiction
All claims against Nexus Holidays Inc. must be filed in writing within 30 days
after completion of the tour. By utilizing the services of Nexus Holidays. you
agree that the exclusive venue for all claims, actions or proceedings against Nexus
Holidays. of whatsoever nature arising out of this contract shall be the
Province of Ontario; and, such claim actions or proceedings shall be determined
according to the laws and jurisdiction of the Province of Ontario.
Limitation of Liability
By booking one of these vacation packages, you acknowledge that in all events Nexus
Holidays Inc. shall not be liable for any consequential, psychological or
emotional damage and that the sole extent of liability of Nexus Holidays. shall
never exceed the amount actually paid by you to Nexus Holidays Inc.
